What if demon Spike loved Buffy, but the souled Spike did not. I'd like to see her pursue him for a change and show some serious remorse over how badly she's treated him this
season. Perhaps he could eventually lose his soul so they could do the happy-ever-after thing.

It would be darkly ironic for all this soul-having business they carry on about so to backfire and Buffy's perfect match to be a soulless demon after all. It would also be a nice twist on the Buffy/Angel storyline.

Ok, here's something that has been milling around in my head for a while. I know we've seen Dawn do some slayage now, but to make up for all the times she got kidnapped and Buffy had to resue her I'd like to see a fic where the roles are reversed. Well, basically, it's just your average bog standard episode of Buffy (something or someone is harrassing overly attractive extras as they walk home on their own at night down a very deserted alley) but it has to have that little bit of extra style and class.

It has to be a Buffy fic only with a James Bond formula.

So, it must include:

* Either Buffy or Spike as the leading role. However, if Buffy is the main character then all the men must be fairly weak willed and easily taken advantage of. Apart from the main male character (oh, who could THAT be?) who is strong willed, almost her equal. And so, if Spike is the main character, the genders are reversed.

* At least one classic Bond scene blatantly ripped off.

* A scene in which we see Spike in a casino. Playing for kittens of course.

Takes place sometime in the 4th season, anytime after Doomed. I want The Scooby Gang (Buffy, Willow, Xander, Tara, Anya, Riley, Giles and Spike) to be transported (dont care how) to the Alternate Universe Anya made in the 3rd season (The Wish).

Make it so that whole last fight scene in The Wish is changed so that VampWillow and VampXander dont dust, Buffy is Turned, and Angel dosent dust. Make it so that VampBuffy and AUSpike are together, and Drusilla is already Dust (tell me why).

Must include the following quote: 'Someones been naughty'- VampWillow, Xander saying 'Anyone getting flashbacks?' and Anya explaining about the Alternate Universe she created.

I WANT TO CRY! Spike must NOT be able to distinguish the real one. And when Buffy finally regain her memories, confronts everyone why they can't distinguish the real one from the impostor. Spike with his soul, feeling guilty. Big fightwith the impostor. Spike dying. Buffy realizing that she loves Spike. But I want a happy ending!

In episode 81, the replacement, Xander was hit by a stick or something, and he got split in two. I think itwould be fun to read a fic that instead of Xander, Spike and Buffy were both hit.

-The Scooby's finding out that you have to kill the demon who fired it to reverse the effect,

Challenge 39

Will Buffy have Spike's chip removed? Write a story PG to R (NO NC-17 please, keep it suitible for the kiddies) either having Buffy saying yes to have the chip out or no. If you decide no, then you must have very good reasons as to why not, using incidents from past epiosdes would probably help your case. Also if you choose no then at least one Scoobie must disagree with Buffy's decision to not have the chip removed. If you should choose yes, then most of the Scoobies must have reason as to why having the chip removed would be a bad idea, this could also be argued with incidentsfrom past episodes. This story must also include, four separate scenes,where Buffy is trying to convince Willow Xander, Dawn and Giles, separatly, that her decision to have the chip removed is the olny option she sees.

The SITs are forced to stop their training and face the reality of The First when Buffy is kidnapped. The Slayer is drained of her essence in order to open another seal, leaving her in a coma. The Scoobies and SITs (and possibly Faith) must work together to get Buffy back before the world ends.

Meanwhile, Buffy is trapped in a dreamworld where she must face her own personal demons if she ever to hope of waking up

Buffy being kidnapped from her own bedroom while the others watch a movie downstairs. They then feel guilty for letting it happen

Challenge 44

As we all know, BtVS is coming to an end, but there have been rumors of a spinoff--presumably, with a new Slayer. Now, I admit to being an avowed fan of Spike's journey along the mythic road to the Hero. His character development over the years has been the most intense within the series and the most consistently maintained. (By contrast, epiphany after epiphany given to Buffy has failed to "take.")

So my challenge is this: find a fanfiction way, consistent with the BtVS universe, for Spike to become the next Slayer, and show us at least one of his subsequent adventures. (I'd rather that magical gender change not be involved, but if that rocks your boat, go with it.) Also give us a sense of how this change affects the Scoobies, and Spike, himself.

Set post Beneath You but before Him (ie Spike is still crazy in the basement but Buffy knows he has a soul. Buffy also has her job in the school)

A student starts visiting Buffy for councelling, the rich son of a doctor he feels like nobody understands him or accepts him for anything other than who his father is. Buffy does her best to help him and they begin to bond.

Then gifts start appearing on her desk and it doesn't take Buffy long to realise that the student has a crush on her. She lets him down as gently as she can but he freaks out.

Buffy is working late one evening when she is drugged and kidnapped from her office by the student. He is convinced that if he takes her away and they are alone together that she'll change her mind about him.

As the only witness to the kidnapping Spike must overcome his insanity in order to rescue Buffy and try and put right the things that have happened in the past between them
